The Lord's Day

- It's about activity (not inactivity of Old Covenant Sabbath)

- Changed from Sat --> Sun (Jews changed it b/c God made it so clear via significant events like Resurrection, Pentecost, Great Commission, etc.

- Honor mother/father everyday, but then there's Mother's/Father's Day. Same with the Lord. Honor every day, but then there's the Lord's Day (more special honor).

- If your week never starts, your week never ends.

- Jesus is the cross. The Sabbath is the shadow. The Sabbath was the shadow that came first.

- Signs of the covenant: (1) Lord's Supper, (2) Baptism

- Purpose of the LAW is to show that we can't keep it, that we need a Savior.
